About Ora

Ora Ramat, a certified yoga instructor, has been teaching yoga for 15 years. She was a yoga instructor at the Abraham Joshua Heschel High School, the Ramaz High School, and the Spence High School in Manhattan. She taught yoga to the high school students, varsity sports teams, and faculty members at the schools. Ora recently completed a year-long Anatomy course taught by Leslie Kaminoff that was designed specifically for yoga teachers.

On weekends Ora Ramat teaches yoga at Wagging Tail Farm, her studio which is located on 100 pastoral acres in Bethel, NY. She hosts periodic weekends of yoga and wellness workshops in Bethel with master classes taught by internationally recognized teachers. Past teachers have included Molly Fox, Paul Dallaghan, Lisa Matkin, and Nixa De Bellis.

Ora also teaches private yoga sessions in Manhattan. Her students range in age from 30 to 92. Sessions are uniquely tailored to each student's needs. Ora believes in the therapeutic effect of yoga and the benefits that her students reap from practicing yoga. As a teacher, Ora is inspired daily by her students' journey towards self-awareness.

Ora's teaching style incorporates vinyasa flow, breath guidance, and connecting to each movement. She honors individual needs and levels. Beginners are welcome!
